Ok, so it's too hot to do much else so we took some new pictures of Nero. Any and all comments are welcome :)

Melba : Love the second picture and so like his smooth coat.
I am not critique person so leave the rest except his ear placement and head is nice size.

Bring the back foot in a little more. But besides that, very nice head. Love the coat.

Thank you guys :) I'm pretty partial myself lol.
Macrowe1, he was doing the 2 step shuffle on me. I place his foot, bleib, moves the other. Damn! Ok, move other foot, bleib, moves original foot. Grr... LOL
That's the game we played for 20 minutes or so.. I have one pic that it looks like he's smiling over his shoulder at me.

The back foot is fine where it is...it's that other hind foot that needs to be brought forward but I understand how tough it can be to get them to stand still long enough for a pic. Very nice looking boy. How old is he? Nice angulation, nice croup. Very nice head, ears, stop, muzzle...eyes could be darker. He looks a tad overweight and he is a bit "throaty" making him look a bit "front heavy" but in all honesty, he is a very well balanced dog. Very nice.

He looks great Melba, super nice male! Always remember the foot closest to you the toe is placed evenly with the last rib in the rib cage :) The first stack is darn close to perfect. Stack number 2 he is a bit bunched up , still looks great though. Doesnt display his turn of stifle as well as it could :) Hope the tips help.

Hey DebiSue, what you are seeing is hair, lots and lots of hair. He's skinny right now because of the heat actually. He's only at the upper 60's in
weight. Maybe 68 or so, and normal for him is around 75lbs. Right now you can feel the last 3 ribs easily, but his coat is so thick that you can
never see them.
I do agree that his eyes are not as dark as they should be. Here's a head shot, different lighting.
And the feet.... grrr LOL He's not easy and was getting pretty pissy toward the end so these were the best we got. :)

LOL, my friend has a black male and I constantly tell her he is fat and she said you can't see the ribs on a black dog! And he has an immense coat too. His eyes do look much darker in the last pic. You have a very nice dog...even if he does get pissy!
