What is considered reasonable - Page 1

What does anyone think such a dog should go for? http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=687156 ? no titles, and HD/ED normal.

Any training done?

Indicates articles on track. Ob, has behaviors for a bh...retrieve started. Bites full, controlled in the work not hectic.

Any health checks or clearances except HD/ED?

No

Well nice pedigree BUT no health checks?  Why?  Do you have to ship her?  If you do have to ship I would not go over $1200.00 as without health checks you would need to do all of that and what if she tests as a carrier for DM or is affected with DM?  Then what?  You are stuck, right?

Where is she coming from, so her conformation is OK, good pedigree and no health checks.  Hmmmmmmmmmm.  NO.

She is two years old and sounds like most of training done. Why isn't she titled, at least with BH? Are you looking at her for prospective brood bitch or competition or companion? Those different goals would definitely have bearing on price.

For me, it would be for the sport aspect.  For someone else maybe a breeding goal.

I think she looks nice, but I would want to see videos. Price would depend on what I see in the videos. 

Fist of all people this dog is worth MUCH MORE than 1200 bucks, breeders sell puppies for more than that, get real!

Buyer can get health checks done with the commitment of purchase if they come back all to the liking of the seller! It is all about communication, people want to sell their dogs.
If this is import you should fit into $4500-5000 depending on the foundation put on a dog and that is with shipping.
Make sure you like what you see in the videos provided and no cut short fancy things, have them show the dog. If you are not impessed, move on.


Realisticaly, raise your own dogs, put a foundation/title on them, feed them, x-ray them and then see how you would like somebody giving you $1200 for your female!
