Hi,
Is it better for a dog to leave him with another one than to leave him alone when I am at work or it doesn't make much difference ?
Thanks.

That depends on what you want out of that dog. If its simply a pet, it does not really matter, if its your working/sport dog, I would not do it. Dogs that tend to bond with other dogs can become difficult to work with sometimes as they prefer the company of other dogs instead of a human in their lives. That is sometimes evident when a litter is left together too long and the pups do not spend enough individual time with a human.

Exactly what PP said. If its a pet not a big deal. If it is a working dog I would keep is separate from other dogs unless there is a person there.

actually he is gonna be more of a pet, i mean obedience training is a must anyway, may be protection if I can but just for fun and as a kind of exercise for the dog but no Show Ring competitions or Shutzhund or IPO (atleast professionally) as it doesn't even exist around here.
Thank you for the input.
