Not many! That's why the deadline is extended.
Please note that this is a regular show and trial where your dog/puppy can earn titles. You do not have to enter the Universal Sieger competition to enter this show/trial. Universal Sieger should be, in my opinion, everyone's ultimate goal!! It is finding a winner that has the best in working qualities as well as conformation qualities! This should be all true GSD/DSH owner's/breeder's goal!! Lets get excited about this! After all, the winner will go on to represent the USA in the International Universal Sieger competition. Last year's Universal Sieger USA, went on to WIN the International Universal Sieger title!!
Go for the fun or for competition, earn titles, enter your puppies in the show and also get to see the new Universal Sieger in person!!

Come and join in the fun and see who is crowned Universal Sieger!
Winston74 - for future referance, a puppy does not need his papers until closer to a year. You can just put "pending" under the registration number. That being said you do have to know the parents and their numbers.
Hope to see you all there!

Could someone clarify the differences between the various top competitions, eg WUSV, Int.Univ Sieger, BSP etc, and which ones are focussed on SL and which ones are WL.

Guddu,

Events such as the BSP in Germany or SchH3 Nationals and other working events are typically working line events. The show lines are welcome and do compete. Events like the BSZ and sieger shows are typically conformation line events. Working lines are welcome and do compete.

The Universal Sieger Show is an event where both working line and conformation lines compete in a test of structure and working ability. This event is the closest competition to the original founders vision for the breed. The breed standard is based on both conformation and working ability.

There's quite a bit of interest forming in this type of event. I'm seeing more and more breeders looking into the working ability of their show line dogs and more working line breeders concerned with structure.
