my bitch recently went through false pregnancy and as a result, i delved into reading nearly everything "false pregnancy" and "reproduction" in GSD. However, i never came across if it could repeat consecutively or simultaneously. I'm concerned because it's only 4 months interval between her last heat(followed by the false preg.) and presently being in heat again. If it will happen again, then i mustn't bother mating her. Any expirience out there?

False pregnancy could be a result of mating at the wrong time?
Definately try again next season.
I also have a bitch that cycles every 4 months and she has had a couple of false pregnancies but usually if mated the next season has fallen pregnant.
Frustrating I know but try next time.

I didn't breed my female at her last heat. Wanted her to rest after having pups.
She had a false pregnancy that would coinside with if I had bred her she would have had them on the scheduled time.......... Go figure.
I was actually wondering if maybe I missed a sneak attack from my boy. I put her whelping box in her kennel just to make sure. No puppies........ No sneaking just her wishful thinking........
If she is in heat - I don't understand why you state you can't breed her? What is the logic? Just curious...............
