GSD - Owner Surrender - Free - Page 1

I'm posting this for a friend. My GSD breeder sent a request for help to place one of her GSD's that is an owner surrender.
The GSD has EPI, but it is under control with no side effects.

The GSD is from the same West German, DDR and Czech bloodlines as my dog.
The dog is located north of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Here is the post from the owner of the dog and our breeder Lynn Fisher:

"Hi, all:

Greta is her name, and she is about 15 months old, around 65-70 lb. She has a great personality for children, is housebroken, very obedient and intelligent. She is doing very well on the enzymes and has no other special needs or complications at all. She is a great dog that we would like to see go to a good home that can spend more time with her then we are able to now. I am posting some photos we took of her today.

She is free, and we will pass along 3 months worth of enzymes (typical cost via the mail order site is about $30/month), no special food needed (vet told us to use Iams adult mini-chunks, not large-breed), and we can donate her crate as well to the interested family. I will notify an EPI list of this post for you.  How very very very sad.  I have had dogs with health issues and never a thought of "placing my dog."
I cannot take her as I have the limit of dogs to care for myself.

I'm not sure of the reasons for the surrender, but the worst is behind them with the EPI.
I've been following this dog for several months. 

I'm not asking questions and trying not to judge.

I will say the dogs from our breeder are healthy, excellent, balanced, high drive, working-line GSD's.
I would expect nothing less...

This is the only dog with EPI she's ever breed and that's 30 years of breeding GSD's.

My dad has a good friend whose 2 elderly GSDs have both passed away in the last 18 months, she has an older male beagle.   She has a few acres, large area fenced in.  She lives in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.  She is a middle-age woman, no children, single.  I'm not aware of her having any other pets now besides her beagle.  She works a full time job at the butcher counter of a grocery store.   
She has been considering getting another GSD, I don't know how she will feel about taking on one with a life long health issue.  I will ask her if she is interested, she is a very wonderful dog owner.  
Is she spayed yet?  That would be a big bonus if she is.  How does she do with other dogs?

She sure is a pretty girl. I hope she gets a good home.

I did send on the info to my EPI list and they are interested in getting her a home.  Info has been sent onwards.  These people understand the EPI.  Get it under control and know what you need to know about YOUR dog and all is fine.  Vets either do not know anything about EPI or are not interested.

The only problem with an EPI dog are the stupid vets!!!!  Been there and seen that which is so sad.  Could tell so many stories about what I had to do to get what I needed from vets for my dog.  I know sooooooo much more.  Very very sad.

Greta is spayed and the owners have an older Lab Retriever.
I think it would be safe to say she's good with other dogs.

I've followed Greta since she was 8 weeks old and her EPI is completely under control.
The EPI did not show up until a few months ago and was quickly diagnosed and treated.
She is a normal GSD in everyway, except for the enzymes on her food.
