with puppies/young dogs ie: sitz/platz etc.
Also for achieving a calm hold with a dumb bell.
We have never had a need to use
one for bitework yet, but would not rule it out.
As far as using for obedience, it certainly has saved
our wore out old backs and knees from bending
over so much!

Most of our work is done using the tables in Tracking, Protection and to a degree obedience. For us, it is the best way to build a balanced, controllable, confident, powerful dog.
Agree with Bob, Unless you contact Gene or someone that you know for a fact works closely with him on a continuous basis and knows and UNDERSTANDS the table work you will get many incorrectly skewed opinions and instructions on how to properly implement the tables. This is absolutely not something that can be explained or learned via the internet or a thread.
