Can someone please provide more information on Maskless or Reverse Mask GSD's? I've had my Zeus for almost 2 years now and always wondered why he looked so different? ( I'm NOT complaining I think he's a magnificent dog and I wouldn't change a thing about him, but I've never seen another quite like him aside from his dad)

The 1st 2 photos look as if he is not pure GSD, but the last one does (other than his color).
If you are certain he is pure, then it is just his genetic make-up.
But indeed, he is a handsome feller.

I agree first picture doesnt look full blooded - second he does. Is he registered? If so, then if you know some of his heritage that let you know why he has no mask............

The puppy pic looks like husky cross. The other two look pure, but lack pigmentation. Possibly white dogs in his pedigree?

I have a 4 yr old spayed female, purebred, AKC registered, DNA tested gsd. Her father was a solid white gsd and her mother black/tan WL gsd. She is my smartest gsd and the most protective. She is my "soul dog." Here is a picture of her:

She Is very pretty! She has the face mask and looks of a wolf hybrid. Maybe she is a Czech Wolfdog?;-)
