somebody told me having a working dog on stric house hurts them when it comes to showing them/training them and i mean all types of showing including schutzhund what do you believe? and Why or why not

The theory is that dogs who are kenneled are 'THRILLED" to see you and put more effort into their obedience.  BUT this does not mean putting a dog in a kennel and ignoring it for 23 hours out of each day.  I think that is where this method goes south.  At our kennel the dogs get a hike in the am.  Then play time.  Then they are put up for a couple hours.  Each gets their individual session then put up.  By now it is evening and the whole herd goes out for another run.  Then supper and bed time.  So you can see they get ALOT of out of the kennel time too.  All puppies are raised in the house. I find it too hard to be potty training/crate training if I can't hear them whine to go out in the kennel.
Isolation to a pack animal is a huge motivator.

well i think i said the post wrong i mean strict hose manners. for example if yo have a dog(working dog) in the house and he is alwasy on the go would making him in to a 'house' lay down all the time type of dog hurts him for showing?

I wouldnt think so you are just teaching ( reenforcing) his commands.  Now if he were allowed to break his command BEFORE you allowed him to then yup it will cause problems in the ring.  Lots of GSD are house dogs, and lots of people have working dogs in the house so it can be done.

I have English-language house commands that are different language/words/inflections than the OB practice/competition commands. The house commands allow for a longer response time and are not strictly enforced :) typically only used in the house, car, or when taking the dog out of his kennel toward the house.

The behavior in the house evolves over time where the dogs learns the boundaries, my own dog is very well behaved with my wife but I'm a lot more relaxed in the house. It's not a case of constantly giving commands as the dogs adapts to the ways of the house.

The kennel issue is not often understood, a K9 for example stays in his kennel away from the family in total peace and quiet; we are resting the physical animal and central nervous system. The obvious example if he's been following you about the house all day, playing with kids, and reacting to people coming to the door then at 10:00pm when you put him in the car to go and do a Night Shift catching bad guys he will fast asleep having had all his stimulation throughout the day. The principle being all his excitement, hard work, bonding, success comes through his job.
Stupid people think putting a dog in a kennel makes it a working animal, they also think that by giving it small rations your doing the same. Kennels only work effectively for dogs that are being SERIOUSLY worked. Club level schutzhund for example probably wouldn't make much difference.

This is different to those that have to kennel because of the numbers/types of dogs they have, or the occasional dog that likes to sleep outside.
Personally, I'm a humble club level trainer, my dog is in the kennel between 1100am and 4pm each day only, and he comes out during that time for training, I've found he's really up for after a couple of hours peace in his run. Other than that he's by side, and part of our life.
