Shepherd Woman

We try to spend as much time as we can with Chaos (Bubba C).  Now that we're living on the farm in the new house, we take him for plenty of walks in the back 40.  As you can see if the pictures, he is loving life on the farm : - )

He looks happy! Has he gotten darker? His coat & face look darker than they were when he was younger, still handsome though! jackie harris

Thanks guys.  Yes, I think he's gotten totally darker.  His coat looks soooo thick and amazing right now.  I've never seen it so thick.  He's got a lot of hi lites and frosting on his back.  It's pretty kuhl.  And yes he does seem to be smiling all of the time now.  We never see him mope now.  For all of the people out there that say that a long coat would never stand the elements outside, they're totally wrong.  He has made it through it all and loves it.  And yes, he does have a undercoat!!!  A  very thick undercoat.

Oh man... what a beautiful dog! And it looks as though he lives the ideal life. I hope it's a long and exciting one.

Thanks Balanchine.  He does have the best life possible and you can tell he knows it.  He's full of life now and always seems to be very happy.  We too hope that he lives a very long time.  I would love to have another 10 or more years with him.  He's very healthy except for his HD, which we see no signs of pain so far.  He'll be 6 this May.
