Ok, I have a couple of questions.
If I have both SZ numbers for the sire and dam of my dog, can he/she be registered with AKC?
As far as I know the sire/dam are not registered with AKC as AKC registration numbers are not shown
on the pedigree found here on PDB.
Is there a place to submit the SZ numbers of the sire and dam of my dog and therefore
find out who owns the sire and dam and whether pups of said sire and dam were/are registered
in AKC or other registries?

https://www.apps.akc.org/dogreg/index.cfm If you look under Registering a Dog On-line they have a place where you can enter the sire or dams registration number .
AKC answers alot of your questions on-line in reference to registering a dog with them. Better yet, just call them and ask them what you can do and hear it straight from them.

Was the dog born in the US or imported?? It makes a difference what paperwork you will need.

Born in USA. I would like to find out who owned the sire and dam.
And if they are AKC registered---do most of the pedigrees on this site list
all registration numbers?
