Can someone comment on whetehr this training snippet is correct? The dog falling and being pulled on the leash is this correct?

Could something have been done better?

regards

Also comment on this dog if someone know? How is this dog to purchase?

Seems like a nice high drive dog from the video.  If I was handling the dog I would avoid letting a young dog like this jump and fall as you see in the beginning of the video.  I would keep the leash lower and not allow the dog to jump and miss causing it to hit the end of the lead and get a correction.  A softer dog could be adversely impacted by this.  The golden rule when working dogs on "handler post" or back tied is too not let the dog lunge forward with any slack in the lead.  This will cause the dog to get a hard correction and even get knocked over like in the video.  I've seen dogs get hurt this way, I actually saw a young puppy break a leg from that exact same situation.

I would use a harness and control the dogs jumping when it misses the bite pillow.  This dog also needs to learn to target properly.  If I were the decoy, I'd probably back tie the dog rather than using "handler post".  It is hard to critique a dog after a two minute video, but I do like the dog from the little I saw.

I couldn't load the video again, so I was unable to watch it a second time and be more specific.  Overall, the main issue with the dog is the same issue many of my dogs have had over the years ----  the handler.
