We just got ourselves 2 GS puppies.
They are on a puppy and costco mix right now. I bought some no grain kibble yesterday for puppies, they didn't like it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for these funny girls? I want to buy the best. FYI I will not do the raw diet.

I've had good success with Canidae All Life Stages formula.

What is good about the Canidae?

Royal Canin German Shepherd formula or Taste of the Wild works for my girl :)

I feed TOTW- bison formula mixed with turkey Nature Domain from Costco.
I wouldn't feed RC because of rice and pork.

Do you let them have table scraps?
My dog that just passed away after 15 years had them.

This is a good start for researching foods:
Dog Food Analysis
My one Shepherd does well on Taste of the Wild. My other dogs eat Canidae All Life Stages. Both are relatively cheap, but have a very good meat and ingredient content. If cost isn't an issue for you, there are brands like Orijen or Evo that are almost completely meat, but comes with a hefty price tag. Since the kibble I feed doesn't have quite as much meat as I like, I also supplement with raw meat.
If I had a Costco nearby I would get the Nature's Domain. It is the "store brand" version on Taste of the Wild.

I should also add, don't let your puppies get picky. Put the food down for 15 minutes. If they wont eat, pick it back up, and don't feed them again until their next scheduled meal. Try putting some water in the food, it will make it smell better. I don't know of a single puppy that starved because it refused to eat a certain food. Eventually your puppies will get hungry enough to eat what you give them.

Personally, I feed raw but if that's not an option, go to http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ for an in depth review of any products you are considering. I find that site to be very accurate and a good source for valuable information about ingredients.
