I have had a dog with Leptosporosis! I will always vaccinate my dogs for it as I live in the country and am surrounded by woods and wildlife! I also work in the Vet field and am happy to say that we do whats called a RISK assessment form and only offer vaccines that the pets are at risk for. The only vaccine we do require is Rabies since it is state mandatory. If a dog has had a sever reaction to it (rare) then the our vets write a letter to the city for the owners. I would only recommend the MERIAL Lepto vaccines. I have seen SOOO many Vax reactions from Fort dodge!
