I am looking for any suggestions for a trainer in huston texas area.  I had sold a puppy 2 years ago and due to a bad experience at a so called "puppy training" the dog is now dog agressive.  I would appreciate any contacts to pass along to the owners.  The dog is so part of their family they would be devastated to rehome him.  you can pm me with any suggestions.
I appreciate any help thanks.

This would also help me. I've tried looking for a SCH. trainer in Houston TX or about an hour away but no luck, most are a few hours away and are not in Houston. Good luck! Try asking some of the breeders in Houston TX.

What about reimprinting the mind of the dog. When another dog approaches... console the familys dog... its ok boy/girl.. its ok. And then eventually give the dog a few treats letting him know everything is ok, he is safe, you are safe and no problems. Has this dog been introduced to a young pup since the event in puppy class?? Just thoughts!!

Houston is a huge metro area with very, very few clubs..........

Renaissance Kennels  3
2950 old Hempstead Hwy Magnolia Tx, 77355 ...
dogtrainingboarding.com/training.html

Rod may be able to help or put you in contact with someone that can.
Houston is a huge place with very, very few clubs and Schutzhund clubs.......

Greater Schutzhund Club

Yes, Rod is the trainer I was looking for in my  book...Happy pmed me and I told him I would get back to him..I have 4 other contacts in Houston.

Greater Houston Schutz club has a vet as their head...I will have to look her up and pm you  as she probably doesn't want her email on the db..lol
Her pic is on here.

Larry Vinzant can help find you someone also..

I will pm you both phones and emails privately...There have to be others in Houston but may not read here.

if your dog exhibits an issue such as agression, maybe a behaviorist would be someone to look for......

ask the Greater Houston German Shepherd Rescue if they can recommend one.

You may try Dave Ketterer at Circle K9. He is the helper at greater Houston sch club, and does obedience training. He is located in magnolia. You can contact him through his website www.circlek9.com

 Azurick:

I gave this POSter A WHOLE  LIST of trainers, heads of all the Schutz clubs in area and gave him a list of persons in Houston area from one end to the other on January 15..

Have not heard one note, thank you , it is done, or couldn't find help or need more help , from this poster since that night.

I would like to hear if he found someone as they do not live in Houston , they live outside , according to info he personally sent me.

I even pmed him the next day all my suggestions

Sure would like to know if  any of them worked????
