My four (4) month old gsd/husky started snoring about three weeks ago. I have never seen this in a dog and don't know what to do or not do ? I will sure appreciate any thoughts or ideas..... Rick

I think its normal. A lot of our dogs have snored... from my last Shepherd, to our old poodle, to my moms Golden, to our current Shih Tzu/Yorkie (which is more understandable because he doesn't have much of a nose to begin with, LOL). Heck, even my cat snores sometimes. They've also done (even my current GSD does this... alot) an assortment of other noises such as barking or growling in their sleep.
Maybe s/he's got a stuffy nose?

Dogs snore, twitch, and moan, run in dreams and make all kinds of noises.
No cure, wake them if you like but that's not nice.
Your lucky, my dog farts.
The green kind that you can see crossing a room, dragging a chain behind them.
Count your blessings...lol

Yes, but check him for lung infection or flu, sometimes because of smoke or wet conditions, or possibly the beginning of kennel cough, hope I'm wrong. Good luck
