Yes it is; but it happens. I worked with "Vom Nordosten Haus." Another breeder in the region popped up using "Von NordOsten Kennel." When I learned of this I emailed them several times; but they never deigned to reply :-(

I was wondering what the heck was up with that ad....
Edited to add:
Oh, for heaven's sakes, it's even worse than I'd thought--doesn't appear that either the sire or dam of the litter being advertised has a hip rating, and the dam's pedigree is basically pet-stock breeding with one Kirschental bitch allegedly back in the 4th generation...
FAR from the kind of breeding the Fullers are known for...how sad that their good name gets dragged through the mud like this. :(

Alabama K9 was infamous for this very thing.
Riding the coat tails of those that have actually "done the work".
I do think it's even worse though when a dog from the kennel name appears in the 4+ generation once.
I can almost see/understand "newbies" using a famous kennel name in their dogs name, they usually don't know any better.
But to use it to ones advantage to peddle puppies from untitled/untested parentage, well, thats just WRONG.
