Koach Agree Some of the best mals I have seen here are french line breeders what drive they have over the IPO mals Same with my pup it is not often you see bite and prey drive that exstreme In such a Young age In schh bred dogs you see it but its far between

Snusjunkie I know about the french,Belgium Both In gsd and mal dont Care about the females but the schh Lines are the ones I wrote and the ones you mentioned but that is the good old schh Lines not like those week dogs you see today with the modern breeding They lack prey,Hunt and fight drive today and hardness they have problems staying In drive for longer time and they are to soft today I have written with one of the old breeders In france and hé wrote mé that only a few of the german lines produce the drive it takes to dó campagne, mondio, french ring only the ones I and you mentioned that is not much and its only the good old Lines and they are getting more and more behind In pedigrees and more of the new type softer gsd is seen.but those old schh Lines have produced very good and are to some of the Lines used In KNPV titlen dogs

I spoke to a Danish breeder the other Day and hé had a litter about almost a year ago He used a french bred dog with lots of ring titles and hé told mé This litter was more crazy and the way they bite as very Young pups where alot different than his other litters they where biting All the time crazy drive hé told mé naturel biters they loved to Use Their mouth more like when you look at Mali pups

I see that in some Schh lines too, it isn't something exclusive from the French ring dogs, i'm not saying they don't have good dogs, they just don't produce them properly, and getting a good dog out of a litter is very difficult!
Look at Haus Ming, Tiekerhook, Karthago, Salztalblick, Lupo Nero and many others! Do you think that their dogs lack prey,Hunt and fight drive??? Sure there should be more, and i agree that it's hard to find good breeders! My point is that you don't have to go to france to find a good GSD for ring sports! The day that french breeders start paying more attention to their females, they will be giving a good contribution to the breed, until then... I rather look elsewhere!

sport training is just that...training. I don't care what venue you choose to compete in.....with that said, the pedigrees look the same except for the titles:-) I also like females...the backbone of the breed!

Not just training, i've seen dogs doing great in rci and their owners tried ring sports and the dogs were just too weak for that...
