Thanks you, so in general they have a much higher prey drive usally then schutzhund dog and can be alot harder BUT are very unstable and be a problem.
Turk have you ever handled or seen a KNPV dog in action in person or only on videos?

Yes I agree that KNPV sport is a much more hard sport than schh and mit Many schh dogs has not got the drive to dó it just like Ring sports and Campagne are not for the Many og the schh dogs so I have just bought a dog from france og hé is has exstreme drive already in a age of 8 weeks so I would always now buy dogs with either KNPV titles or Ring sport because the naturel selection of the working traits is better than the selection of schh dogs . Schh does not select the Best working dogs but the best trainers

Well bred GSDs are well bred GSDs, a sport doesn't make them any harder.

The hardness is in the bloodlines, otherwise the Schutzhund Championships would be dominated by dogs with PH titles in their pedigree, or ringsport.

They are not, the majority of K9 come from schutzhund bred dogs; why because 95% of a K9's job is tracking, not much of that on KNPV.

Where does the pressure from the helper come from in KNPV as there is no attack, the bicycle test.

KNPV is good, but no more perfect than anything else.

Its breeding and bloodlines I'm afraid. There is no magic bullet in the form of KNPV, Ring, PSA etc.

Just bloody hard work and luck.

A good dog is a good dog, shame such an interesting thread got caught up in the ill judged my sport is better than your sport cliche.

Nice post Ronin.

clear view ronin , discussion of hardest hitting dogs has nothing to do with quality , got to do with preydrive , not courage or quality , the hardest hitting dog in my club is the worst overall dog there now , but sad fact is that many people only judge a dog by its longbite or stickattack

On that note, who are the hardest hitting dogs?
