I heard the sad news yesterday that Roy passed away at the weekend following a heart attack at his home on Saturday. My condolences go to his family at this sad time.

Very sad news, I knew the Allan's for over 50 years. Roy was president at our club, the British German Shepherd Dog Training Club for many years. RIP Roy. Best Regards Arthur Maples.

Very Sad to hear the news about Roy's passing. The first Sieger I attended years a go I shared a Room with Roy, I found Roy very Knowledgeable and cared about our Breed.
R.I.P Roy.

A wonderful Shepherd man. I remember him showing Lido, and I asked whether he did anything different when he was showing him to working him and he said no - the dog just knows what I expect of him. I still have his critique for my first show dog, he sent them to all exhibitors which was a nice touch.

My heart goes out to the Allan family. It's the end of an era. My deepest condolences.

Shootersway Persephone figured a lot in my early breeding. We owe a lot to the vision of Roy and Clarissa.
