Been noticing people feed their GSD's puppy food,why?My pups should be here around Jan 10 ,do i need to start her on puppy food ?

just feed a well balanced quality food, all she wants.
Sudden changes are a bad idea especially with a pregnant bitch.
Now later I do begin to add puppy food sometimes if I'll be feeding the puppies a different food from what I normally feed a bitch, but only when the pups are ready for solids because my bitch eats with the pups at first, around four weeks.
Make changes gradually a little at a time.

BTW- the correct spelling is "shepherd" not sheperd
