Can anyone direct me to a reputable import breeder that you personally have dealt with? I am interested in a Sch1 male.
Thanks for all replies!

thats like saying all muslims are terrorists. Just because you had a bad experience with Germans does not mean everyone has a bad experience with Germans and all German Breeders are crooks...

Dillard, where in the world are you located, for starters? Are you interested in a showline animal, or a working line animal? If working lines, do you want West German lines, former DDR lines, Belgian lines or Czech lines? All of these points will play into what breeders would be best suited to meet your needs...

Now you are headed in the right direction Dillard. This really is the best way to make sure you don't get ripped off.
And yes, it will be helpful to state what kind of dog you want. You can almost kill 2 birds with one stone and look here, http://www.bullingershepherds.com/index.htm for a titled dog.
I see she has some titled dogs available. She has showline dogs, but they definately work too.Bullinger is VERY active in working her dogs. Everyony I have spoken too that has a Bullinger dog is very happy with their dog.
I have a Bullinger dog. He is the most intelligent dog I have ever had. the only thing that stood between him and a title, was ME!
Also, just to note, I got my dog when Tracey was literally on her way out the door to the NASS a few years ago. Along with her getting her dogs ready for transport to the show, she got my boy Duke ready to ship to me. Not one glitch in the whole deal. And , if you check her dogs out you will see, she has only the best of the German Showlines.
Good Luck in finding the right dog for yourself!

I would Highly Recommend Tracy Bullinger!! I have gotten most of my dogs from her. I have the 2010 youth USA seiger winner 20010 Canadian Young Dog Seiger and 2010 SG 11 WDA Seger show He is now back from Germany as Sch3 will be showing in sieger show next year. Have a young female that has placed high in all seiger shows will be leaving to be titled. Have bought over 11 dogs from her and headed to her place next week to bring 2 more home. I have gotten some of my dogs from germany but I get rid of more than I keep. good luck w/your search

i have imported several dogs over the past 8 years or so and the only one that has given me good dogs was eurosport. they will try and find what you are looking for if they dont havve it themselvef. they are easy to deal with but you have no warranty. the warrantys you get are not worth the paper they are written on anyway.

yes, i agree. i have imported many dogs from Eurosport. some for personal use in usar others for competition for clients. only good things to say. they send videos and hip and elbow x-rays for dogs titled or other wise
