I am not personally breeding any such dog. I was just looking up some interesting pedigrees as I do sometimes in my free time and came across a very impressive stud dog. However, his hips are rated 2/2 in the czech system.
The dog is Urf z Jirkova Dvora. He is gorgeous and seems to have excellent working ability judging from his titles and some write ups I have found on him.
I was just wondering what everyone thought about this...

Is it a-2/2 or b?

urf is very good dog , ive seen him working and like him , however I would not breed 2/2 dog unless there are no other options for great stud , and his brothers/sisters and parents have great hips , and female has no problems in that area
on elbows I wouldnot even look at dogs wit 1/1 or fast normal

In the czech rating system any A is rated for breeding A 2/2 would be the lowest rating allowed for breeding via the FCI CMKU. A B C are Slovak Ratings.

I believe he is A 2/2. I know he is allowed to be bred.
Are his progeny at high risk of hd?

He is a beautiful looking dog & seems to be a great working dog. Depends on how he is producing. Also the female he is bred too should have very good hip & elbows plus her line have known improvers or at least clear for 5 generations. This at least will improve the odd's of better hips in the offspring. But I would still follow the same guidelines for the offspring for hips & elbows improvement.
