Looking for info. on a buyer's sales contract and to ensure that purchase of dog is not some online scam?

Normally the breeder will offer a contract for the buyer to agree too & sign. I never heard of a purchaser giving a contract.
Every breeder has their own contract with their various clauses they wish you to agree too & what they will offer in return.
Hope this helps, Godd Luck

The best contract you can come up with will be from a Reputable Breeder, one that has been proven to be just that.
So many discussions have been had here as to how many get ripped off. Don't buy a puppy unless you KNOW for certain, who you are dealing with and that is the ONLY way to be sure you are not getting scammed.
Anytime I see someone ask on here about getting a dog, the people here are very happy to assist and guide you to Reputable Breeders.
Just ask, and many will direct you in the right direction. I got two dogs from the internet. (One working line, one showline, excellent pedigrees) My decision on what dog, what breeder came from knowing what others here have said and done.
I could not have asked for better dogs than the ones I got. They were exactly what I wanted, no bull crapping around about shipping times ,dates, etc.
It's best to learn from OTHERS mistakes (not your own) when it comes to buying a dog!

I agree with kitkat. I just paid the deposit on a GSD puppy I am now anxiously waiting for. This will be my second dog from these folks and as I could not be happier with my first dog I am sure this will be the same.

Thanks for all the replies...@ cphudson you're right I never heard of a buyers contract either. a beeder's contract was not being offered nor was a phone number to talk to the owner in person, all I had was pic's and a email address (sales@fullforceforceproectionk9.com) so I had one drew up and the seller declined to sale, so I knew then they were not a reputable beeder and I agree with kitkat's post!
