We have a purebred female, she's about 11 months old and just recently we noticed she started getting bumps on her nose? We moved to this location about 2 months ago but it didn't start till a week or two ago. They don't pain her and they gradually disappear during the day until the next morning, when we let her out in the mornings for a bit. I also noticed that her left eye will get kind of drainy too, and she'll rub her face on the couches and our legs to scratch her face. Is it allergies? She has already had a bacterial infection on her abdomen, her skin is very sensitive. Not sure if there's anything we can do for her or if maybe we should take her to a vet.

Thanks!

she probably has allergies... so I would suggest to find out what is irritating her and maybe use benadryl. But also consult it with a vet, can be immune system problem, who knows, vet is your best bet.

My dog had the same issue. I narrowed it down to food additive hypersensitivity in certain treats (rollover sausage) and excluded them.
Took several weeks though as we excluded all extras, only fed raw tripe for a week and added one by one again slowly.

Those are Hives make sure ants are not in or around the feeding area. If not suspect food allergie

Thanks for the help there aren't any ants or critters around her feeding area but she is outside on and off during the day so she could be nosing around into something. I suspect food allergies too but she is already on Blue Buffalo the only thing I could think of is to switch her to the Basic brand and see if that helps. Will consider giving her a small bit of benadryl before she heads out in the mornings to see if that helps. Thanks so much!

Agree with B.Anderson.. those are definately hives.  What kind of dishes are you feeding your dog out of (i.e. stainless, plastic, etc).
