with deer season getting in full swing around my part of the world I wanted to ask if the raw bones w/ meat are OK for the dogs to eat? Would probably be legs and rib cages...thanks!

I'm about to feed mine a meaty deer ribcage. Deer ribs are fine for them to eat. I let them rip the meat off of deer legs but I take it away before they start to munch on the leg bone.

Hi',
You can feed the whole deer as long as you limit the fat intake and get them use to the rich meat,I take all of my families and also go to butcher then cut bones up and freeze for whole year.

My dogs love the deer meet. They eat the meat along the ribs & spine plus the bones.

I feed ribs cages to my dogs and they love them. Like mentioned, be cautious with the weight bearing bones (legs).
On a side note, I recently learned about a couple of GSDs being shot by a hunter (during opening shotgun time). Be aware and take precautions to keep your dogs safe.
