I have a 1 year old male who we work with in terms of obedience.He has an anxiety if our kids friends come over and he can not see our children,then when he does he likes to nip or mouth everyonce in a while on the hand.He has always used his mouth but it has gotten a bit better over the last 8 months.When the friends come over and that is maybe once everyother week he just seems to get rammped up and runs around like a sentry dog.I know he is probably protecting all of us but I do not want this to get worse over time.He walks about 1.5-3 miles a day depending on weather and does not have any agression towards dogs he meets on the walks.thanks

I have never replied to two posts on the same day before ( see "When to start training") as I dont regard myself as a definitive expert but I posed a very similar question myself back last August in the General Topics section under the headline "Separation anxiety"
I received a lot of good advice from those people who took the time to reply.
Maybe worth a look if it's still up

thanks I will look back further and I dont know how I got 2 posts on the same trying to figure how to delete one of them
