What I have witnessed at Nass this year was disgusting. A female just imported and off the plane from Germany Escapes while being shown to Buyer late Thursday night. AT THE TIME THE BUYER NEVER HAD POSSESSION OF THE DOG AS YET!!! The disgusting part was the absence of the Owner (IMPORTER) in the search efforts. The Buyers were left to search all night with no results. The next morning and for the following 3 days they had help from number of people including strangers from neighbouring residences and show competitors who really care about animals and their well being but not the so called OWNER. Lesson learned: Never pay in full for goods (dogs not received) and careful who you buy from regardless of their Status.

Oh, that was so sad indeed..: (
When we arrived late Thursday night I saw a dog roaming the parking lot. I told my husband and he was sure I was seeing things. Nevertheless , we went looking for the dog and it seemed to disappear. I later heard it was in fact a loose dog. It really broke my heart to think of her out roaming around alone and afraid. How is she doing now???

Here's a clue: she was at large for several days but was finally captured the night before last and is safe and last I heard was at the vet being checked out. How about you just shut the fuck up?

The situation as I understood it...and I spent a significant amount of time looking for the dog...was that the dog bolted from the people who were importing her for a buyer who was not in DC.  Either way, the people from whom the dog originally escaped were very worried about her and were searching for her constantly, even delaying their return home to stay until she was finally captured and was safe.  It was unfortunate that she got away to begin with but your categorization of any part of the situation as "disgusting" is unwarranted.

Keith: Your help in the search was very much appreciated, just wish there were more like you. I also assisted in the search using my dog throughout the neighbourhood the forest and the thorns in an effort to get her out. I know were she is and how she is doing because the people who stayed behind (THE BUYERS) who have her now are good friends of mine and I was and am in constant contact with them. No comments were maid by me without facts therefore Your Shut the F... off was uncalled for.
