I can't help but notice that most of the people who are always the most vocal about how much these dogs suck never seem to get any show ratings on their dog beyond an SG, the bare minimum required for entry into a breed survey and one that never requires them to enter their dog(s) in a working class. I can't help but wonder how your so-called "real" dogs would fare if you took them out of their familiar surroundings, drug them half-way across the country, or in some cases, half-way around the world, left them in your dog trailer or truck where they can't really sleep for several days for all of the barking, commotion and cars, dogs and people coming and going at all hours of the day and night and then asked them to perform outside of your carefully choreographed little routine. If your dogs are so much better, why aren't you showing them? And please, don't blow smoke up our collective asses about how the judges won't place your dog; Randy hung it out there and earned a very respectable V2 for Waiko.
So what gives? It's easy to talk smack from the sidelines; why aren't you in the game?

Well I may be the first here to say this....but I for one, was not happy with the performance of the 2 dogs that we (our group) brought to the NASS.
Ivan....who is a very nice dog, is actually a strong dog in temperament & normally performs much better than he demonstrated this past weekend. This past weekend he looked slower and drab in his performance. I have no explanation....
Tony....nothing short of...he was in no way trained properly, nor ready for this kind of event....our huge mistake to bring him, after him arriving from Germany only a short time before.
Thank you for the videos......another glimpse into where our mistakes were, and seen through the eyes of another.

ETA: Keith....I also agree with your opinion regarding the masses that have no problem "critiquing" or "evaluating" other people's dogs or performances, having never met the dogs or performing in such.
As for me.....I'm still proud of our dogs and what they can and actually do.
I won't make excuses for them either when they act, look or perform "less" than what we expect from them......this time....we were not "satisfied" with their performances.
