I have a male 3 years old vet checked ofa certified but he has no interest in females at all.  we have kenneled the prospective female next to him for days before and while she is in heat. when he gets near her he growls and bites at her.  He has no interest with a female what so ever.  we have tried with females that have already been bred before she is ready but he is not.
we have tried putting him in her kennel and her in his it all ends up the same him trying to bite her when she shows interest in him.
any suggestions?

Get him a male.

If agression is higher than reproductive instinct, I wouldn´t take such a dog for breeding!

Was the dog properly socialized as a puppy? And has he been living with dogs?
If your male has had only human contact since he was a puppy, it sure does not help....

It could be that your dog is either spoiled or dog aggressive.

Being spoiled I mean he has been treated so much like a human, he thinks he is human....

How has he been brought up?

Sounds like he needs more socialization with other dogs. Also have him checked by a vet for any thyroid issues / low hormone levels.
Did he have a bad experience with a aggressive female in heat in the past? Was he scolded heavily for mounting as a puppy?

Placing him in a kennel next to a female was a good idea, if he was use to a kennel prior. Sometimes it helps to place an inexperience male near a breeding pair so he can watch & learn, if he doesn't distract the stud dog. But if all fails to work with your male then I would not use him for breeding. It's not rare to see an inexperience male not know what to do with a female in heat, but is rare for the male to show aggressive signs toward the female in heat.

Or lets just face it... He,s gay!.

Not necessarily gay, but maybe he is the only male in the world that thinks there is more to life than sex. mail

..or he could be choosy (also rare) and just doesn't like arranged dates.

hhhhhhmmmmmmmm!!! ...Nope gotta be Gay...hahahahaha

Try this feed him some oysters, do some candle lite and play some Barry White in the back ground and try again... If his biggest concern is his collar doesn,t match his obedience leed, your out of luck.

Do you have other stud dogs around?  I had a male one time that would not breed because there was another dominant male around.  It could be so many things.
