Very sad. I remember being told by rescue personnel that they try to pull shepherds asap, saying, "...they don't show well in shelters. They need to get out..." Depression. This dog looks like a pretty awesome find for someone. Who knows what his story is? Somebody could have died and the kin set him loose...but it still is a tragic "something" that went wrong for this boy.

That is very sad, I'm nowhere near Ca so I can't do much but hopefully somebody closer to will help him out. If I was closer I would take him.

Well, I'm in Texas but I would take him if I were closer and let him have a nice last few years. Hopefully someone can and will do something.

how unbelievably sad!!! I hope someone steps up for him. It sounds like they are still waiting to see if his owner picks him up before adopting him out.

This makes me very sad--I hope someone adopts him soon!

Some of the Ca rescues will assist in pulling dogs if they know they have adopters waiting and there's a vary of rescue transport available to assist in getting dogs to their new home-someone just has to make the effort and do the research.

Oh my, this is hearthwrenching. I sure hope someone gets the poor boy out of there and finds him the loving forever home he deserves.
