I have a dog entered in an SV type show next week (WDA). He is tattooed and microchipped. I have the WDA paper that my vet signed verifying his tattoo and chip. His official 4-gen pedigree is in the mail. The host club said I did not need the tattoo verified on the pedigree for this show as long as I have both documents. His tattoo has become very difficult to read. If the judge cannot read it, will the WDA verification paper suffice? He is chipped but I do not have access to my own chip reader. Haven't had this problem before, as my showline dog's tattoo is still readable from across the room, lol.

If he is under 12 mos old & he is microchipped....YES.....there should be no problem.
All that is required is proper identification....tattoo or microchip.
