This is sort of a two-part question thread -- I'm looking at the two litters listed below. Currently, I have a deposit on a male from the second litter. However, I've been thinking lately about a female from the first litter. I always go back and forth between wanting a male or female working dog (I'm a girl, if that matters)
So, would you pick a female from the first, or, a male from the second? Also, I'm curious regarding personal preference in male or female working dogs? I've had both a male and a female, and definitely see the pros and cons of both, but haven't had enough experience and would like some input!
I think females are a bit more independent, and I do like that. Also that they are more handler-oriented than fight-oriented like males are. Since I'm looking for a personal protection dog, at this point I am thinking about a female. (Hate that they go into heat though! And I will not be fixing my dog right away)
Any help???

I have a friend with a Tommy son and she is thrilled with him!! His pictures are gorgeous, he is a beautiful black sable like Tom and he is doing outstanding in his schutzhund training. I believe she may be trying for his BH this fall or maybe its next spring but he is a great dog!! But either litter looks great to me too!!! Personally would love a puppy from either litter, I am planning to get my next puppy from True Haus in the near future hopefully next summer!!

I like litter B better, but because I'm a huge fan of Ellue & Tom

ditto cphudson, plus I prefer males unless I intend to breed (which I don't), so it's an easy one for me
