hi everyone. well i kept a solid black pup. clone of worik jipo me, terror like her dam palma jirkova dvora, but so sweet and loving. anyway she will be 9 weeks on yuesday. is it normal for her to lay with her back legsstraight out in back of her while she lays on her belly?(like a bulldogs lays)
it looks like she has NO HIP sockets!!!!!!!
no other problems, ie limping,running FIGHTING her parents :)))
just wondering. not any of my other dogs did this. thanx

I wouldn't worry about it, I've seen lots of pups do that.

I have too, especially when it is hot, the cool ground/floor feels good on their belly.

We call that "Frog Dog" here. I think all of my dogs do it. When I was showing Miniature Pinschers my male who always laid like that OFA'd Excellent for hips.Yep first Min Pin ever to go Excellent.

A couple of mine do it as well. My pup who is almost 22 weeks old will splash out water on the concrete floor downstairs and then lay like that in the water when he's hot from being outside. Clever boy.

thanx, just makes her look like she has no hip sockets to do that ;))
