I didn't need him to post the evidence, the issues I raised clearly demonstrated it was possible......I expect newbies to not know this but for experienced people to not consider this before questioning??????Well I'll leave it there!!

Gustav - yes! I would expect healthy dogs to be able to sire puppies to the ages you state. I didn't imagine that China would buy him at that price just to look at him.
So, even if China had a limit of 60 covers per year (I doubt they have, but I don't know), if we say fewer covers of say 40 per year over 3/4 years (taking him to 9/10 yrs old) would be plenty sufficient to produce the number of progeny stated, and then some.

Now let me see if I have this straight. 700 dogs registered in China at approximately 6 dogs per litter would give us abou6 116.67 litters. Over 4 1/2 years that would be about 26 litters per year. That doesn't seem too unreasonable to me. Just my two cents. ecs
