I was  training my pup in my livingroom/kitchen-basically "MANNERS IN THE HOUSE"..lol ...and when I stopped for a minute turned my back-stopped to read this database for a minute - he jumped up on the counter and ate my steak that I had set out for my dinner.   I have to say my training isn't working on those manners... It was a ribeye that was over a pound.  He had ate half of it before I got it back.  I cooked it and it will be my treat for my other dog tonight at club training...sad to say it did cross my mind to wash it off and feed it to my kid...but I didnt.... Play together, eat together....

Thought it was funny after I thought about it... any of ya'll have funny stories.

When I get on the phone mine act up and get into things they know dang well they are not to touch. My daughter would do the same thing when she was younger.
Always,

Too funny about the steak!!!

Mine are great in the house and lay quietly beside my feet while I'm on the computer...until the phone rings.  Then, they act like a couple of kids not being properly supervised (which they aren't - LOL).  They bite/nip, wrestle with each other and are basically very vocal and LOUD to the point that I usually have to close the door.  Only happens unprovoked when I'm on the phone....just like clockwork!

They both have rock fetishes which I'm trying to break for obviously reasons.  They don't chew on them - they just carry them all around the yard which is really fun when you're mowing.

HA!  I have lost Spencer steaks & Porterhouse steaks to the same bitch!!  The only safe counter-space was in the microwave!!

A dog I had years ago jumped up to the counter when my back was turned and grabbed a raw roast beef I was about to cook. I outed her, took the roast away, washed it off, cooked it and served it for dinner. No one knew except me and it was delicious. LOL.

To Funny guys - I will use the microwave for future.  Sam1427 you must have washed it good - cause I couldnt get all the dog hair off of my steak - my dogs are blowing their coats and hair is everywhere....
