I got a gsd puppy for my birthday and at first she was all over me, but now im down here with my brother and I might be moving in and she want's nothing to do with me. My brother has another puppy and they play 24/7 they eat together, sleep together and do just about everything together. The problem is that now she barley even notices me. I try to play with her and it works for a minute but then harley(my brothers puppy) comes in and ginger(my puppy)wants nothing to do with me anymore. I try to train her and I can only get so far before she runs off. I do only train her for about 5 to 10 minutes a day if i can evenm get that much outta her. I dont know what to do!! I mean other people have multiple dogs but their dogs always want to be near them. PLease if anyone can help me I would appricate it.

Ah, ya, puppies prefer other dogs over humans, so Brittany, you are going to have to take her away from the other puppy and spend time with her, lots of time.  Spend alot of time playing with her, exploring with her and any other fun games you can think of.  Take treats with you to reward  her when she comes to you.  Keep the training fun and short.
She is just a baby.

It is going to be tough with another puppy around, so you are going to have to be with her separately.   How old is the other puppy? Do they  have their own crates?
Personally, I'd keep them separated, and keep her crate close to you.
Get her used to a leash, so she has to be with you, but definitely try and spend time away from the other pup. (Have I mentioned that before? )
All the best!

Definately agree with above post, this pup needs to do lots of fun things with you.  She is having a blast playing with her new buddy I assume they are around the same age? Definately start doing neat things with her, take her out for walks, swimming and car rides just by herself.  Take her away from the other pup when you feed her, I'd personally do some hand feedings too.  You need to become the most fun thing in this pups life.
Good luck!

Totally agree with all above statements! I bought my Ezra at 10 weeks. I bought her sister, Capri at 15 weeks. Capri would have nothing to do with me. We seperated them, and I kept Capri with me 24/7. We are now inseperatable. I no longer need her with me at all times. But when I'm there she doesn't leave my side. It doesn't take long either. You have to be the center of that GSD's life. You and only you. Remember, if your not the boss, she surely will be!!!   LOL Good Luck    Pete
