by Aurelius on 06 July 2011 - 06:07

Hi! My name is Aurelius. I am a 10 year old boy who is new to this forum. I am learning about German Shepherds still. I want to introduce my dog to you.
He is a 19 month old 110 lbs. dog and still growing. He is a working line dog. So what do you think about my dog?

Here is the link:  http://www.youtube.com/user/kazbeckful

Thanks,
A

In my opinion that's a little heavy for 15 months... But he's very handsome. ;)

Im sorry, he is actually 19 months old. He is big but not fat. His rib cage is still protruding. Lucky to have this precious dog.

I think he looks like a lovely boy but I think he should loose a litle weight

you could catch a glimpse of ribs and I think it should be more streamlined because otherwise he is a very well built dog very similar to the old-fashioned

Many dogs today are actually a little chubby, in relation to how people kept their dogs in just 10-15 years ago

Today dogs are actually a little too thick, actually there study to show that thin dogs are generally older

Very nice boy, glad to see you are so into your dog.
He is a bit heavy and could stand to slim down, it will be better for him in the long run.

My male GSD, Ron, is 20 months old and weighs 81lbs and he is a big boy. He is probably right at the top of the standard as far as height goes, if he weighed even 10 pounds more I think it would hinder him physically.

Are you going to get involved in any sport or training activity with your boy?

I get it, support a child and break a law.  Read the law and then tell Oli he is doing wrong. The TOS says you must be 13 so just throw out the laws and the rules and make your own.
