This dogs coat is absoulety amazing. Did anyone seen that longcoat daughter of his? Yosie von der Kräuterwiese is her name. Seems like he gave her his wild coat feature, which is absoulety gorgeous.
Out of the offpsrings that he produced, and is registered on this forum I must say that this bitch wins the best coat award. I just love the textures.

I suspected a bit of sable ....????....Anyone????....

    Brittany...That female's coat is beautiful...: )

by crhuerta on 04 July 2011 - 17:07

No...not sable.
It is a picture of a black & red dog.....rich in red/brown color, needing a little more solid black in saddle area. (cosmetic pref of course).
Pretty dog.

       Good to know...not sable...: )

There is such a variety of markings and patterns it can get very confusing IMO....

I would prefer a little more black on the saddle area too....

Black and red with a lot of black ticking around the neck and head. Deanna, you may recall my Aila has very similar markings, especially around her throat, peppered with grey these days.
