Is there a difference between a long-haired gsd and a long-coat gsd? What is the difference between a black and tan gsd and one said to be sable but also has black and tan coat? I'm so confused!

there are 3 coat types please correct me if i am wrong...
there is Stock plush and long
stock coat is hair 1 to 2 inches long
plush is like 3 to 4
and long is anything longer than that i would say
but i also believe that a plush shepherd does not have the ear and pant feathering that a long coat does but to my knowladge long hair and long coat would be same thing
black and tan shepherds should be just that. some have alittle sableing in their black occasionaly.
but there are also patterned sables who from a distance look black and tan but have the light undercoat and a dark guard hairs.
this pup is called a black and tan all the time but she is a sable
