I have a five month old Female Shepherd, she is a happy go lucky puppy but she pee's everytime she is excited. I do not know how to brake this with her. I have read about it online and people say she will grow out of it but it is quite annoying. If anyone else knows how to correct this I would greatly appreciate it.

What you read is correct. There is nothing else you can do.

My girl is 2 now, she used to do this alot, but now she only does a little leak when her breeder comes round for a visit, and to stem that as much as possible i let her out to relieve herself when i know she's on her way. She should grow out of it, but if you know there's a chance she could get excited in advance, take her out for a little toilet break before hand, should reduce the amount :)

Good suggestions with taking her out prior to meeting anyone, plus have the people NOT make a fuss over her, ignoring her till she calms down can help.

puppy diapers will help keep the house clean until she grows out of it.

Thank you, I just get worried because I bought my husband a rat terrier puppy a long time ago and she did the same thing and to this day she pee's all over the place when she gets excited. I don't want that especially since she is a large dog lol

There is a possibility that she will grow out of it. I have a male pup who leaked out when excited but grow out of it when he turned 2 years old.... Be patient! Remember not to punish her.

I dont punish her for it, I take her right outside as soon as i get home from running errands and when my husband or son gets home from work or school I let her out so she can greet him outside and not make a mess in my house. Sometimes though it could be like two hours after my husband has been home and all of a sudden if he even talks to her she will pee,
