Sample Contract - Page 1

Hello,

I'm in the process of importing a 2yr gsd from Germany and wanted to get a suggestion on what should be on a contract to protect the consumer.  Its my first time importing and wanted to make sure i have all my bases covered.  thx

most foreign kennels don't have contracts....its strictly on a handshake.. hope you're VERY comfortable with whom you are purchasing.

When I imported both of my females I sent the sellers a copy of my contract, got them to review it and made changes if they requested. Both had no problem doing this and they sent me a signed copy with the rest of the papers. Not like there would be any way to enforce the contract but it should make you feel better if they are willing to sign.

yikes ,  i guess so because when i asked about the contract they asked me to write one out and this is my first time  importing a dog.  Besides the dog itself, is there more i should be asking for such as health certificate, xrays, ..etc  ?   There are these titles next to this dog and is there a way of verifying the titles?  breed-federation = sv;  result = kkl 1; show review = v;  apprenticesh. id = AD, Sch1;  health = hd/ed normal .   thanks for the help
