Hi, i wouldnt worry too much at 14 weeks old.. There ears are obviously not formed and the cartilidge isnt strong enough. I have seen this tipping of the ears in a litter of pups before and there ears have been fine as they have got that bit older. Cheers Lewis...

Just give the puppy things to chew on to strengthen the cartilidge and the muscles in the forehead... Hope this helps

Look For, cutting of teeth plays a role in the ears for sure. they go up and down. And at her age she is still developing her teeth.

My friend is going through this with 6 month old GSD.She gives small amount Knox gelatin with food, her trainer told her to do this. I asked my vet ,she says even at 8 or 9 months with GSD not to worry about ears.Seems like a long time to me but that is one vets opinion. hope this helps

at 3 to 6 months, it is ok for german shepherd ears to be down. it goes up at around 3 mo but goes down with teething. it goes up again usually at 4.5 to 5 mo sometimes 6 if the dog is big. in dog shows, ears that are down at more than 6 mo is a disadvantage. hope this helps.

One of my American lines old guy's ears only went up halfway and was taped at 7 months, and it never has been quite as "firm" as the other ear. My late dog out of German lines had his ears fully up at 3 months and they stayed up straight through teething. The new guy's ears were straight up when he arrived here at 15 weeks and also stayed up through teething. Agree with the Dr. that anything longer than 6 months should be addressed.

It happens in certain blood lines. Usually it corrects itself as the pup grows,..but not always.
