We'll be moving to a different home soon and I'm wondering if I should expect any marking problems with my adult GSD. This home is bigger and I don't want him to find any secluded areas and make his own potty. Is there a need for crate re-training?

Has your adult male marked before?
Do you know if other dogs have marked in the house?
I've never had an issue with any of my dogs marking in the house even when we moved into our new home not too entirely long ago (6 months.) BUT they've never marked to begin with and are intact.

No, he does not mark. He did once when he was reaching adulthood, but it was dealth with swiftly and he has not done it again. I don't believe other dogs have marked in the new house; they only had cats.

Mine never did when we moved. If he's a puppy or rescue that was only recently housebroken you might have some issues, but once a dog is truly fully housebroken, it usually hates to go in the house.
