You mean that helicopter looking thing in the background???

The "helicopter thing" is a small version of a horse walker. Travels both directions.....4 speeds each way....can walk up to 4 dogs at a time. We made it years ago......just took a picture of Jake on it today and thought I would share.

Hmmmmm, thats a pretty good idea.....But we rather spending quality time with our dogs walking them ourselves....Of course, not only do the dogs need exercise, we do too....Not only that, I think our neighborhood enjoys the visit from our dogs every day.......Its routine and many of them are elderly and they look forward to seeing us coming down the street.... We try to walk everyday at the same time, so they laugh and say they can tell what time it is....

Great idea for a boarding facility, and you must notice the dog in the picture looks quite happy. If it was the only source for exercise and stimulation that would be something else.

Hello JillSue, Is this used just occasionally or instead of walking with the dogs together? May I ask if they are supervised during use of the mechanical walker (in case of a problem during mobility)?

Hi Vixen......dogs are always supervised. The walker is just another thing that my guys get accustomed to. Just like I use a ramp.......sometimes....to have them load into the back of a truck. Yes, They should (and can) be able to jump onto the tail-gate; however, there are times when some of them cannot or should not do so. The more things you can get your dogs accustomed to......the better.
