FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
History begins at the 2011 USA Sieger Show
Press release authored by Danny Spreitler
St Louis, MO – November 09, 2010 – The United Schutzhund Clubs of America
For the first time in history of the United States the USA Sieger Show will offer the Long coat classes for all German Shepherds. No other Sieger Show in North America has offered the Long coat classes before and USA has listened to the membership and will proudly expand the event to offer the class in 2011. The recent decision by the FCI to recognize the dogs and the guidance provided by the SV allow us to be the first organization in the United States to recognize the Long coats and provide a venue for their participation. With the FCI decision, USA regulations were changed to allow the long coats as a separate class.
It will be a true historical moment when the first Long coats are awarded a show rating that is recognized around the world.” Tim Burke
In response to numerous conversations with the membership the Veterans Class will be returning to the event in 2011. “I have received countless calls from our membership asking that we bring the Veterans Class back to our event. I agree that we should have the class that recognizes the contributions of our older dogs and thus this class will be at the forefront as we establish the USA Sieger Show as the premier event for our great breed.” Mary Dygert.
Tim and Mary further stated that additional changes are coming to the event and a second announcement will be made on November 00,2010 that will include the dates and location of the event.
