It saddens me it really does, and I still haven't seen either the UK KC, The GSDL or the SV introduce any measures/recommendations/judging penalties to even begin to address the problem.
Maybe I missed it, anyone know?

Along with the longevity of the GSD when compared to other large breeds that are supposedly "working" breeds.
I am unashamedly an advocate of the working GSD - end of.
I think my record evidences this.
But some people here are being hung out to dry who I have known for years and have the best interest of the breed in their DNA. I (and you) may not agree with their opinion-but it is genuinely and honestly held. This is a something of a witch hunt- you cannot fairly state that the extreme dog in the video is typical of most showline GSD's.
Personally I am at more concerned by the temperament of many current showline dogs that cross my path than their anatomical attributes.
