I bought a bitch from this breeder for £850 3 years ago got told i would have to get hips and elbows scored before i could breed from her.I got vienna,s hips score back total is 67.Right side 33 and Left side 34 all you,s out there know thats a terrible score and no way can i breed from her.Sue has skirted round the edges not willing to admit this is bad for me im fully aware its a chance we all have to take that hips and elbows come back fine.I seen Sue at the open show in strathclyde and she admitted it was bad that i was to get in touch with her once the score came back when i got it and she says yes we,l sort something out.If only she had spoken to myself on the fone rather than ignoring myself and hoping the problem would go away and have her husband be nasty to myself and my husband and not once did we raise our voice Jim her husband did so what does that tell you all out there they know there,s a problem and will not admit it.Sue thinks she has the upper hand here and think shes indespensable but i think she should admit her wrong doings.I would never buy a bitch pup long haired at that for £850 for a pet and especially when one of her other bitches was due puppies at the same time and she was selling them for £600.NO WONDER YOU TOLD ME SUE NOT TO LET ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH I PAID FOR VIENNA.Its bad out there that there is breeders who think they rule the world WITH THERE SHEPHERDS IE-SUE BELLFIELD IS ONE OF THEM .I got told by Sue vienna would be £850 to keep the bloodline.I just thought i would post my grievance with SUE BELLFIELD on here and let everyone know i know some out there will strongly dissagree with me and some who wont but £850 for a bitch and get nothing out of it its bad so i would stay well clear of SUE BELLFIELD and her not so fantastic breeding.Happy reading Sue look forward to your reply.xx

I don't understand why you have come on here complaining, you obviously agreed and were quite happy to pay £850 for the pup at the time!!  Everyone knows that when buying a pup there are no guarantees where hips and elbows are concerned.  It is unfortunate that your dog has a high score, however I don't think it is right that you come on here bad mouthing the breeder!!!

I have every right to come on here and complain about a breeder especially when they wont even aknowledge my self so jacko and jodie wind your necks in.

As hip scores can be affected by environment and upbringing, and I presume the parents had decent scores (or else why would you have bought a puppy out of them?) it would be helpful to know if any siblings have also been scored and the result before blaming the breeder. 

after6cpl: Have a word with your local Trading Standards as the bitch seems to be " Not fit for purpose ". Also when you consider you say you paid £850 3 years ago, when some of the top kennels are only charging £700- £800 at the present time it does seem a tad steep.

No guarantee with hips even from good hip scoring families. But…anyone with integrity would deal, and then there wouldn’t be any need to post badmouthing breeder, right? Ignoring and being nasty as OP says, if that’s what happened, is not the answer. If bitch not fit for purpose for reason she was sold and for price, there should be a case for legal redress. Pencil, get real. Pass problem onto unsuspecting puppy buyers so OP can get money back? I hope OP has more decency than that!

hi pencil and dotA thanks for your reply Daira seemingly has great hips and bad elbows hence why sue bought her im beginning to wonder if that was the case at all!!! and it was bad hips and great elbows.Sue has had a year to sort this out im new to all this and didnt understand that hip scores have to be sent away for breed survey.Vienna had her hips done at 2years could,nt before as she was in season so i made vet rake them out and they got sent away in oct this year.Sue can ignore the problem if i wanted a pet dog as she and her "" SUE FAN CLUB "" think i would have bought another pup from her other bitch that was due pups at same time.Daira as we have all been told by Sue is fantastic and i thot if you buy cheap your buy dear not in this case.There are other options ie- in taking her to court.Im not messing about any longer and this problem she cant sweep under the carpet.Thankyou all for your support i appreciate it.Ive raked online for the rest of the litter and can only find 1 and that was done in germany like the Daira.

A female from same litter in Ireand also had bad hips .Expect the usual rant from Sue for " BLOODY HYPOCRITE " about how great her kennel is and how jealous we all are of her success etc . In reality she does  NOT practice what she preaches . Her greatest success, the " R " litter would not have been born if this was the case . DO THE RIGHT THING SUE FOR " BLOODY HYPOCRITE " AND GIVE THESE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK OR REPLACE THE PUPPY . ANY DECENT BREEDER WOULD HAVE HAD IT SORTED BY NOW & THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO NEED TO USE THIS FORUM
