Female Black Shepherd 7 yrs old and spayed, name is Sadie. Owner has lost his job and can no longer take care of her. She is house broken and gets along with other dogs. Need to get her out of the shelter ASAP as she is not handling the shelter environment very well, very anxious and nervous but a really good dog. She weighs approx 75-85lbs.

On the surface, this is going to sound harsh but I put it out there anyway.
If you had a dog, who's life expectancy was 10 years and you had to let it go, after having and loving it for 7 years of it's life. Would you rather be there, holding her, telling her how much she was loved as the end came or would you find it easier to put her in the hands of strangers, knowing her chances were slim and she would die with mo comfort?
