Missbeeb, Dan was trying to get his ears up for me. I think he must have tossed a ball or toy in the air, and Jim looks like he's getting ready to go after it. To me he looks focused and ready to spring into action. Devotion would be more doe-ey eyed and trusting. And yes, Jim was definitely an 'old favourite'. This was the Canadian Nationals, and I think Dan had him there so he could take part in the Parade of Champions. (For those not familiar with this dog, this is ROM Ch.VA2 Jim vom Fiemereck, Sch3, Kk1, one of the very few German dogs of recent years to win an AKC championship.)
Anyway... Preston, if you click on the link that says "Puppies for Sale" then scroll about halfway down the page, you can see the whole litter, with individual pictures of the pups from 4 days to 5 weeks! Interesting to watch their development, esp. the one you noticed, whose name is WIkky. www.majoruvhaj.cz/

Don't know why my post didn't show up, when I tried to edit to re-do, it was there!
Thanks for that, Ibrahim. I find these pedigrees fascinating because I know nothing of the bloodlines, yet there are many correct looking dogs in them. Good luck with yours.

Elkoor, you can definitely see the mischief in those eyes! I'll bet you've been having fun with training! How's you furniture and pant legs holding up?

Theo has to have eagle eyes here, he is about 10 feet off the ground overlooking the valley, it's in the white mtns. of New Hampshire, it's quite a view!

Ibrahim, yes your dog has the fire in the eyes. He is a very impressive GSD. Melba, Sunsilvers all those GSDs pictured above have it. This is what a GSD should be. Elkoor, that puppy photo you have is a classic for this look. What a fantastic dog. Theo definitely has this fire in the eyes, look of eagles too and is filled with confidence. What a superb GSD. Maybe we will see a comeback of this true GSD working temperament. When one sees a puppy or an adult GSD with this it is unmistakable and is most impressive. The confidence exudes from these marvelous GSDs.
